i hear your calls dudettes.... haha. it's time for updates again!! (cue: cheer!) lol!
let's see...on national day, we went out for our mini celebration with dear ol' granny. met up with dumbo (our fam's brand new chauffeur. haha)and mr jason at taka and went for mini tea at breeks. the adults were tucked comfortably in a corner while the four of us were left to fend for ourselves. hmph. but nothing can stop the legendary us... when stuck in boredom, just flash out the cells! and we happily entertained ourselves in the following hour or so..

after tea, we headed to this nice lil restaurant which is located very ulu-ly in a corner of chinatown. though so, the food was gooooooooood! managed to get a group shot there.
it was a good day out with part of the family!!

sch has started yet again...this is the second last time that i can say that phrase out loud... cos 2 sems later, i'll be out of fairytale land and will be stepping into the harsh and brutal real world where menaces lurk. just the mere thought of it is repulsive enough.. let's not go there yet...
so sch started and we headed down to earl swensen at vivo to celebrate darling adel and sunshine sayang asilah's birthdays! i must say it was good recommendation by dear sherlin who could jolly well apply to be the promoter for their salad bar buffet! the salad was so satisfying that i went down the following week with sis and big hairy monster (aka big low)for dinner.

in an attempt to regain my chef's title, i volunteered to make dinner tonight.
now as all of us know, we need to go marketing to get the ingredients. so off i went, armed with a reusable bag (live earth!), trotting my way to the ntuc nearby. i've got the recipes ready, shopping list ready..all seemed perfectly planned when suddenly (insert dramatic sound!) my stupid OP slippers failed on me and refused to hold its grip onto the slippery afterrain-floor. so off i went, flying slightly into the air (yes, imagine the scenario) and landed flat on my flat butt (pun intended). to make things worse, there was this guy (whom i suspect is the doctor at the clinic nearby) who walked past. he did turn and asked if i was ok..but i managed to catch a stupid grin on the face.. if i could, i would personally wipe that grin off his face! but i couldn't...for i was too embarrassed for words! i could just die from embarrassment at that moment.. T_T
enough of the embarrassing stuff.. where was i..... oh yes, cooking.
i was all busy making dinner when sneaky sis took a pic of me with disheveled hair at work. i never knew i look like this when im transformed into chef claryce.

i've been tutoring for about 2 years now.. i've snapped pics of my students but never posted on my blog before... as to date, i've had a total of 10 students. i'm no 'miss nice' to students...just ask those who've had to endure my rantings and scoldings during lessons. hahaha! like the chinese sayang goes: a strict teacher produces good students!

do you know the taste of utter disappointment?
utter disappointment is when someone whom you think will speak up for you when the need arises, fails to do so.
utter disappointment is when someone conveniently forgets the many things that you have done for her and chooses to remember only those that you failed to do for her.
utter disappointment is when she chooses to conveniently forget/ is oblivious to the fact that you, many a time, became her scapegoat and the target of ramblings when in the first place, it wasn't even your fault but you chose to keep quiet about it.
utter disappointment is when you cry in a corner when faced with shit and she is outside there enjoying the tv.
utter disappointment is when you can't even find the words to verbally describe the bitterness in you.
do you even know how it feels?
selfish?
tell me what's selfish.
do you dare say when you ignore how one would feel when you go on blabbering to others about one's weak spots, that is not an act of selfishness? that that is not an act of insensitivity?
i don't know.

I've fallen in lurve with a married man!!!
hahahahaha!! Now now, before you guys go "oh my god claryce!!!" let me do some elaboration.
I was watching the oprah winfrey show the day before and my new found love was a guest on it. Mind you, I haven't even heard of his name prior to this! So the moment he laid his fingers on the piano and opened his mouth, I knew for sure that it was going to be love at first sound...and boy was I right..
Here I am typing this with his cd playing in the room (rushed down to the nearest HMV the next day and grabbed this last copy)...ahhh..puuurrrfect!
