chef biggie ng was at work again last fri. this time, no more poo like dishes.
tantalising....no? haha
long beans with spicy bean paste
sliced pork with celery strips
appetizer - bitter gourd with spicy bean paste. not a tinge of bitterness was tasted. really. served chilled somemore...yum... hahaha
ok ok..let me confess, i did not come up with all of this. sought help from a recipe book. haha. but hey, at least it looked more edible than before right?
PTS is fun thus far.. i am in no position to complain about anything cos im having it better than all my sayangs. let me show u some pics of my job..
taken from the mrt platform. yup, this is one-north. it is not as simple as it looks like from here. stretches over dunno how many hectares (start point is near NUH ok). we had to trot our way on feet thru the area over two days under the sorching sun. about 4 hours each day. we'll be back there in the following weeks to come to install some measurement apparatus. it's gonna be labourious man!!
then at 12 noon today, huishan and i helped in the setup of this instrument on the rooftop of what was the law fac. 12 noon! can u imagine the heat?? apparently, they are going to use this instrument to capture temp of the area (it's going to be a rooftop garden soon)
after an hour when setup was done, it was time to enjoy the serenity of the surroundings..
since there was no other way down (oed officer had to lock the stairs), we walked across the roof to get to another exit. yup, these are roof tiles.
quite an experience cos the oed officer, michael (a nice uncle who dispensed advice and treated us to fruit juices!), said students are not allowed on roofs of nus. (they fear we habour suicidal thoughts. haha)
